Account and Data Deletion Request
At Ruyue, the space between two people belongs to them. You can delete your account and everything stored with it at any time, and your partner's copy of shared content is removed along with it where it cannot exist without you.
What Data Will Be Deleted?
When your deletion request is processed, the following data will be permanently removed from our systems:
- Account Information: Your email address, display name, profile picture, and pairing state with your partner.
- Cycle and Mood Entries: Cycle records, phase history, symptoms, energy levels, and mood check-ins.
- Messages and Moments: Letters (delivered and scheduled), snaps, voice notes, and their delivery status.
- Shared Content: Lists, special dates, expenses, and wardrobe notes created in your shared space.
- Vault Contents: Encrypted vault entries stored under your account.
- Location and Presence Data: Any active location session state, battery readings, and presence indicators.
- Technical Data: Device tokens used for notifications and diagnostic references tied to your account.
How to Request Deletion?
You can use one of the following methods to delete your data:
Account Deletion
Permanently removes your entire profile, preferences, and all associated personal records across our system.
Data Deletion Only
Keep your account active but clear specific historical data or activity logs that you no longer want us to store.

Important Information
Requests submitted via email will be processed within 7 business days after security verification. Once the Account Deletion is processed, this action cannot be undone. Data deletion requests may also result in the loss of specific features or history within the app.
