Who is Ruyue for?
Couples who want one calm, private place for cycle awareness, everyday coordination and small meaningful moments. A pair is one partner who tracks her cycle and one who supports her. You can start alone; shared features unlock when your partner joins with your code or invite link.
Is Ruyue a medical app?
No. Cycle information in Ruyue is for awareness and context between partners. It is not a diagnosis, not contraception guidance, and not a substitute for medical advice.
What can my partner see about me?
Your current cycle phase and day and your latest check-in (mood, energy, symptoms and note), not your history. Location and battery only if you turn them on. Your online status is shown by default and can be switched off in Settings.
Can anyone else read our letters?
No. Letters are end-to-end encrypted on your phones and our server stores only ciphertext. Once a letter is opened it is deleted from the server; you can save it as an image first.
Does Ruyue keep my location history?
No. Only your latest point is stored, and it is deleted when you stop sharing. Sharing runs until you turn it off, with a notification on your phone the whole time.
How private is the vault?
Vault entries are encrypted on your device with your passphrase before they leave it. The server stores the encrypted data and never receives the passphrase or the key that could read it. If you forget it, use your one-time recovery code; we can't reset it.
What does Premium add?
More letters, snaps and voice notes at once, kept until they're opened; letters dated for the future that you can take back; monthly AI credits with in-depth answers and plans; and special-day reminders ahead of time. When one of you subscribes, the other gets Premium too.
Which AI does Ruyue use?
Google Gemini, only when you use an AI feature. Your partner's profile is included only if they have agreed to it. Answers are guidance, not medical advice.
